Wonders of Lo are just that ... wonderful!

I've coveted this books at a friends' place in Kathmandu, Nepal and finally took the plunge to seek out a copy of this out of print title. It was well worth the wait, arrived in perfect condition, well packaged and in far less time than I was expecting. I'm one very happy customer.

Scholarly work with excellent reproductions on the kingdom of Lo Montang/Mustang

Beautifully produced volume on the art and culture of the Kingdom of Mustang... if you've been jonesing for more ever since you read Peter Matthiessen and Thomas Laird's East of Lo Monthang, this will satisy with way better reproduction quality and quantity. Unfortunately only available used at a sky-rocket price - I've never seen it cheaper than 399 USD - perhaps someone will reprint it for the benefit of all the Himalayan students out there. Until then, check interlibrary loan, or google the authors (especially Luigi Fieni).
